Telenor Youth Forum 2018 Program Details:
Telenor Group and Telenor Pakistan in collaboration with Noble Peace Center have announced the 6th batch of Telenor Youth Forum 2018 that is an excellent opportunity for the Pakistani youth that has a passion for changing the world by helping others solve their problems.
Besides, the Pakistani youth that has effective communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and technological expertise will be required to speak on a global level regarding the inequalities and provide the possible solutions about those problems.
The program aims to drive change in the world by the use of technology to drive the real world changes and reduce inequalities. It required 1-year long commitment, where the assigned teams will have to delegate a time of 2 hours per week on the assigned task. The program is fully funded. The candidates will be required to develop ideas for the products, services, and campaigns for the social issues that need to addressed urgently.
Not just this, the previous participants of TYF 2018 have made their mark in the world and have been appreciated and recognized by Forbes 30 for the work they have done. Moreover, the winning team will also be provided with an amount of 100,000 Norwegian Korner, which is equivalent to 15,000USD to materialize their ideas.
Program Duration: 1 Year
Program Location:
- Oslo in December 2018
- Bangkok in May 2019.
Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Nationality: Pakistani.
Eligibility Age: 20 – 28 Years of Age.
Educational Qualification Required:
Candidates currently enrolled or recently passed out higher education degree are eligible to apply for the TYF 2018.
Skills Required:
- Experienced in working for social good, such as volunteering, activism, or other leadership roles.
- Excellent in English, both spoken and written.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Digital technological expertise.
