What is Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme 2018-19?

Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme 2018-19 is a Master’s Degree Program scholarship funded by the Scottish Government for the females of Pakistan. The scholarship program will enable Pakistani females to earn admission in the below-listed fields all over Pakistan in any Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institutions.

Field of Study Available on Scholarship:

1. Education
2. Sustainable Energy
3. Food Security and Agriculture
4. Health Sciences
5. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Engineering / Education

Scholarship Location: All over Pakistan.

Scholarship Benefits:

1. Tuition fees
2. Hostel costs
3. Subsistence to the award-holder
4. Travel to and from home to university twice a year for students staying in hostels

Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply. Female candidates from rural areas are encouraged to apply too.

Nationality: Female candidates bearing Pakistani nationality, currently residing in Pakistan are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Pakistani female applicants currently residing in Pakistan are eligible to apply.
2. Female applicants must hold an offer from Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university of Pakistan.
3. Female applicants undertaking a 1 or 2 years master’s degree program in any 1 of the following fields are eligible to apply.

• Food security and agriculture
• Health Sciences
• STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

Documents Required:

The following documents are required for the completion of application form:

1. Scanned copy of CNIC
2. Scanned copy of transcripts
3. Proof of admission and/or enrolment at master’s level
4. Tuition fees form
