PIEAS Fellowship Program 2018 Details:

Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) and Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE) has announced fellowship programs for Ph.D., MS, M.Sc. and BS Programs. Candidates wanting to pursue their careers in higher education and research and development must apply for this fellowship program, which is a golden opportunity.

Candidates expecting their degree completion by the end of 2018 are also eligible to apply. Candidates will be selected for the fellowship program based on an admission test and interview, which will be conducted by Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS).

• Appointment after completion of the studies as Junior Scientist, Junior Engineer or Medical Officer (SPS-8) with 3 advance increments along with the eligibility for promotion to Senior Scientist, Senior Engineer or Senior Medical Officer (SPS-9) after 2 years of service.

2. Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) offers IT Endowment Fund Scholarships for the MS Computer Sciences Programs along with the following benefits:

• A stipend of PKR.25,000/- per month.
• Full fee waiver

• Free transport
• Students have to pledge a bond to serve the country for 5 years after the completion of their degree.

M.Sc. Radiation and Medical Oncology	MBBS with 1-year house job

Eligibility Age:

The maximum age limit for candidates is 27 years and maximum age limit for medical doctors is 32 years. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates matching the following criteria are eligible to apply for the fellowship program:

1. Only Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates expecting completion of their degrees by the end of 2018 can also apply.
3. Preferably 1^st class academic career. A 2^nd division is allowed except in the final degree. In case of semester system, a minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.00 in the final degree is required.

Application Procedure:

1. 1. The candidates can apply online at the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) website, i.e. http://red.pieas.edu.pk/.
   2. The application processing fees can be paid in any branch of Habib Bank Limited in the PIEAS University Account, i.e. Account Title: PIEAS-APF, Account No. 00427991660803.

1. An admission test will be conducted for the sake of selection in the major cities of Pakistan, followed by the interview.

Test Dates:

Following are the important dates to be noted:

• MS Admission Test: 23^rd June 2018, Saturday.
• BS Admission Test: 24^th June 2018. Sunday.

Application Deadline:

The last date to apply for the PIEAS Fellowship Program is 14^th May 2018, Monday.
