Durshal Internship Fellowship Program 2018 Detailed Description:

The word “Durshal” is a Pushto word that means “A Gateway.” Dushal Community Lab Innovation is a project by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KBITB) to enable the youth to collaborate, innovate and have access of the training that is required launch new businesses.

Together, The Government of KPS and KPITB have come up with the Durshal Internship Fellowship Program 2018, inviting applications for the fellowship program to incubate the potential startups. Durshal is also encouraging the female candidates to apply for this program.

Internship Duration: 6 Months

Location: Peshawar, Mardan, and Swat.

Stipend: PKR.30,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Each startup may have 2-4 candidates as partners.
2. The startups should comprise of a team of people who could handle both technical and management aspects of the business.
3. Each member of the startup will be evaluated separately. Therefore, it is advised that qualified candidates are selected as team members.
4. The startups should have a growth capacity in a way that it provides value to the province.
5. The startups will be evaluated on the basis of their ideas, team composition and the viability of the product/service.
6. At least 1 startup member should be a graduate with minimum 16 years of education or more in any ICT, Business Administration or Management related fields.
7. Candidates must have an ICT based business idea that could be materialized into a commercial product/service or business.
8. Startups must be in the initial stages of business development so that changes could be made in the plan as per need.
9. Lying, misinterpreting or copying of information will result in instant disqualification.
10. Only shortlisted candidates will be selected for further pitching session.
