MEXT Master Scholarship Japan 2018-19 Detailed Information:

The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan has announced MEXT Scholarship Japan 2019 that offers fully funded Masters and Ph.D. in Japan. The Masters and Ph.D. programs that are being offered cater to almost every field. Moreover, exchange programs for students currently enrolled in Masters or Ph.D. Degree Programs are also being offered.

Scholarship Domain(s):

The scholarship is available for the candidates who want to pursue academic degrees on scholarship in the following domains:

1. Masters
2. Ph.D

Host Country: Japan.

Scholarship Benefits:

1. MEXT Scholarship Japan 2019 is a fully funded scholarship program.
2. The traveling expenses to and from Japan will be covered by the scholarship program.
3. A monthly living stipend will be granted to each candidate.
4. Accommodation
5. Meals

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The applicants must be born on or after 2^nd April 1984.
2. Candidates whose final result is expected in June 2018 are eligible to apply for MEXT Scholarship Japan 2019.
3. Knowledge of Japanese Language / IELTS / TOFEL is not required.

5. The applicants should not contact any Japanese Professor at this stage.

Application Procedure:

1. The candidates are required to download the application form: http://www.pk.emb-japan.go.jp/Education/Research/Forms%202019/Application.pdf.
2. The application form must be printed on A4 size paper and it must not be stapled.
3. The following list of documents are required in the same order:

• Mark Sheet Form
• Application Form
• Placement Preference Form (optional)
• Research Plan
• Abstract of previous Research (if any)
• Attested copy of Transcripts and Degree of the last academic degree, from the last university, attended.

4. Documents provided other than those mentioned above will not be considered or accepted.
5. The application form and required documents must be enclosed within an envelope.
6. The application form along with the above-mentioned list of documents in an envelop must be sent to either of any below-mentioned addresses of The Embassy of Japan In Pakistan, depending upon the candidate’s test/interview center choice.
