Fully Funded Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2018 Details:

Commonwealth  Distance Learning Scholarships 2018 is a postgraduate scholarship for the candidates belonging to under-developed and developing countries. The scholarship program offers part-time distant learning master’s program in selected fields. The scholarship provides courses provided in partnership with the local providers in the developing countries as well as from the UK.

Scholarship Themes:

Scholarships are available for the following themes:

1. Science and Technology for Development
2. Strengthening Health Systems and Capacity
3. Promoting Global Prosperity
4. Strengthening Global Peace, Security and Governance
5. Strengthening Resilience and Response to Crisis
6. Access, Inclusion, and Opportunity

Scholarship Benefits:

1. Full tuition fees
2. All other compulsory costs of studying a UK’s Master’s course at distant learning
3. The full cost of residential components of a course.

Scholarship Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for the scholarship the candidate must:

1. Be a citizen of Pakistan Country.
2. Be a permanent resident of Commonwealth Countries.
3. Be a citizen, having a refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country.
4. Be a British Protected Person.
5. Hold a 1^st class degree of at least upper second class (2:1) student.
6. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.
7. Be unable to afford to study your chosen course without a scholarship.

Selection Criteria:

Each university from the UK participating in the program will conduct their own recruitment process to select candidates for the Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship 2018. Whereas, the following will be the selection criteria:

1. Academic merit of candidates
2. The potential impact of the development of the candidate on his / her home country.
