ASEM DUO-Sweden Fellowship Programme 2018 For Pakistani Students detailed Information:

The Asia-Europe Meeting (AESM) is an Asian-European political dialogue forum to enhance relations and various forms of cooperation between its partners. ASEM–DUO Fellowship Program supports the exchange of professors and students in tertiary education field between Asia and Europe. The Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) has announced ASEM DUO-Sweden Fellowship Programme in Sweden and Asian Countries that aims to address the ASEM addresses political, economic, social, cultural, and educational issues of common interest, in a spirit of mutual respect and equal partnership. The Fellowship Program offers the exchange to and from Asia and Sweden for the candidates pursuing Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in their host countries.

Course Levels Being Offered on Fellowship Program:

The following course levels are available:

1. Undergraduate Programs
2. Graduate Programs

Fellowship Program Duration:

• The fellowship program duration is 1 semester, which is 4 months long.

Stipend:

1. For Candidates from High-Income Countries: €3500 for both Asian and Swedish students.
2. For Candidates from Middle or Low-Income Countries: €4000 for both Asian and Swedish students.

Eligible Nationalities:

Sweden and Asian candidates are eligible to apply for the ASEM-DUO Fellowship Program. Besides, candidates from the following countries are also eligible to apply:

Fellowship Program Location:

• Sweden and Asian Countries including Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. It is required that the applicants whose 1^st language is not English should provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level, which is required by the University.

• The ASEM-DUO Fellowship Program fulfills the following requirements:
• An educational institution in Sweden and an educational institution in Asia must establish an academic cooperative arrangement / inter-institutional agreement.
• The Swedish home institution has must select an EU national student enrolled at the home institution to send to the Asian host institution, and such selection must be accepted by the Asian host institution.
• The same Asian host institution must select an Asian student enrolled at the host institution to send to the Swedish home institution, and the same Swedish home institution must accept such selection.

Application Procedure:

1. The candidates are required to fill the application form that is available at http://www.aseminfoboard.org/sites/default/files/documents/2018%20ASEM-DUO%20Fellowship%20Programme%20%28DUO-Sweden%29%20%E2%80%93%20Call%20for%20Applications%20%28Application%20Form%29.doc.
2. A scanned copy of both the paired candidate’s passports of the must be uploaded on the website.
3. A Copy of Cooperation Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation or Declaration of Intention to Set-Up New Cooperation Agreement between the 2 paired institutions must be signed by the Head of Swedish Higher Education Institution by uploading to the website with scanned files.
4. A copy of the transcript of both the paired applicants must be uploaded on the website. The transcript should clearly include grades until fall semester 2017.
