TEVTA E-Rozgar Youth Training Program 2018: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) was formed through an Ordinance publicize by the Governor of the Punjab and now is a leading partner in the development of the Punjab.

TEVTA helps Government of Punjab by providing a quality and productive workforce by developing demand driven, standardized, dynamic and integrated technical education and vocational training service.

Objectives of TEVTA:

The following are the aims and objectives of TEVTA:

Upgrade teaching abilities, skills and knowledge of teaching staff.
Upgrade teaching equipment to the required standards.
Establish a staff development system to offer subject specialist teacher & training instructor to upgrading performance.
Establish Data Banks for skilled workers and technicians.
Develop & regulate examination, Trade Testing & Certification System to ensure uniformity of Education & Training Standards.
Prepare training plans, programs and projects keeping in view the local as well as foreign manpower training requirements.
Study and propose changes in the existing training legislation.

TEVTA E-Rozgar Youth Training Program:

The Chairman of TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that in order to remove unemployment from country, TEVTA has planned to give training to the youth of Pakistan and get 4,000 trained young and energetic candidates.

E-Rozgar Programme is not only important for the youth of Pakistan but also important for the country as well because youth could put their share in the economy of the country and helps build the economy of Pakistan.

Irfan Sheikh is very optimistic about the first phase of youth training programme as the first badge will consist of the candidates from the Major cities of Pakistan including Lahore and Faisalabad. The candidates will get training in the following courses:

Graphics Designing
Technical

The Programme intends to produce a fruitful youth with a vision to become Entrepreneur, Self-Employed, Business owner and the capacity to become their own Boss.

Qualification Required:

The minimum qualification required to apply in e-rozgar youth training programme is DAE(CIT), ICS or FA with one year diploma in computer through a recognized institute.
