Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program USA 2018 Detailed Information:

Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program is a renowned fellowship program for the experienced international candidates, aiming to enhance the cultural understanding and leadership skills of the candidates. The 10 months long non-degree fellowship program aimed to provide candidates the opportunities for professional development by taking selected university courses by attending conferences, workshops, lectures, seminars and other practical work experiences.

2. Communications / Journalism
3. Economic Development
4. Educational Administration, Planning, and Policy
5. Finance and Banking
6. Higher Education Administration
7. HIV / AIDS Policy and Prevention
8. Human Resource Management
9. Law and Human Rights
10. Natural Resources, Environmental Policy, and Climate Change
11. Public Health Policy and Management
12. Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration
13. Substance Abuse Education, Treatment and Prevention
14. The teaching of English as a Foreign Language
15. Technology Policy and Management
16. Trafficking in Persons Policy and Prevention
17. Urban and Regional Planning

Fellowship Program Duration: 10 Months

Fellowship Program Start: Fall of the next year.

Fellowship Program Location: United States of America

Fellowship Program Benefits:

1. Full payment of tuition fees at the assigned host university
2. Pre-academic English language training (if required)
3. A maintenance/living allowance
4. A one-time settling-in allowance
5. Accident and sickness coverage
6. A book allowance
7. A one-time computer subsidy
8. Air travel (international travel to and from the United States of America for the program and domestic travel to required program events)

Educational Qualification Required:

The candidates are required to have at least minimum undergraduate degree in order to be eligible for the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program.

Work Experience Required:

The candidates applying for the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program are required to have a substantial work experience of 5 years in order to be eligible for the fellowship program.

The selection procedure consists of the following steps:

1. National screening
2. Screening by the Institute of international education
3. Candidate review committee
4. Approval by the J. Williams Fullbright Scholarship Board
