How to Join Pakistan Army After BA, BSC Graduation (Job Description):
It is interesting to note that a large number of students are interested in joining the Pakistan Army after completing a degree in either B.A or B.Sc. However, many students are unsure about the necessary steps that they need to take in order to become successful. If you are interested in entering the Pakistan Army, you are should be willing to serve them with atmost devotion, glory and passion.
The Pakistan Army offers a course two times a year with the aim of selecting new commissioned officers. These commissioned officers will have to serve the PMA for duration of one year.
Students who have achieved a minimum of 50% in their examination, and a minimum of 60% on FA and FSC examination are able to undergo the graduate course. This is taking into account that you have completed either a B.A, B.Sc, BBA, or BS degree. If you are in your final year of study, have completed your examinations and are still awaiting your final results, you are also allowed to apply for the course. However, in this case it is compulsory that you submit a signed hope certificate by the principal of your university. This must be handed into to the selection committee.

If you are willing to join the graduate course, you should be in the range of 20-25 years of age.
A required height of 5.4’’ or 162.5 cm is compulsory. Your chest measurement should be around 33 × 34 cm. Your weight should be correct in accordance of your body mass. If you are overweight, your application will not be accepted.
Procedure of selection:
Once you are registered at AS and RC centre, you will be issued a date of the preliminary selection. All candidates who are successful will have to pass a physical test and a comprising intelligence test. A medical examination will also
be done. An initial interview will be conducted, followed by a ISSB test and further interviews. Lastly, a final selection is made by Army Headquarters on Merit.
Candidates are required to complete a full year at Pakistan military Academy Kakul (PMA). Once they have completed the year, they are awarded with the Rank of Lieutenant.
