HEC Cuban Government Scholarship 2018-19 Description:

The Government of Cuba has announced One Cuban Government Scholarship for the students wanting to study medicine as an undergraduate field of study. The Government of Cuba in collaboration with The Government of Pakistan and Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has announced HEC Cuban Government Scholarship, which is an excellent opportunity for the students of Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) to study Undergraduate Medicine Studies in Cuba for the year 2018-19.

Available Positions: There is One Undergraduate Scholarship available in the field of Medicine Studies in Cuba.

Eligible Age: 17 – 21 Years

Eligibility Criteria:

Only the nationals of Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Application Procedure:

The candidates are required to apply online on the Higher Education Commission website, i.e. http://www.hec.gov.pk/english/scholarshipsgrants/lao/Pages/default.aspx.

After registering and filling your profile on the HEC website, select “Learning Opportunities Abroad” under “Scholarship and Grant” menu in the left-hand side panel of the online portal.
The application processing fees of PKR.300/- must be submitted to HEC through Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in HEC online Account No. 17427900133401 in HBL, Shalimar Recording Company Branch, H-9, Islamabad.
The completed application form must be printed and following list of documents should be attached:

3 copies of HEC online application
SSC Certificate with IBCC attestation OR O-Level Certificate (Science Group) with IBCC equivalence
F.Sc. Certificate with IBCC attestation/A-Level Certificate (Pre-Medical) with IBCC equivalence
10 recent passport size photographs photograph (attested from the back).
Birth Certificate issued by NADRA only (attested by issuing authority)
Father or Guardian’s CNIC copy.
Attested copy of Domicile.
Photocopy of valid passport (validity should be more than 6 months)
Original Medical Certificate issued by District Head Quarter Government Hospital which must be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) at their respective provincial headquarter offices or Islamabad.
