HEC – CRBC Scholarship Programme 2018 Scholarship Details:

Higher Education Commission (HEC) in collaboration with China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) has announced a 2^nd batch for the HEC – CRBC Scholarship Programme 2018 for the engineers of Pakistan, bearing a valid graduate/bachelors engineering degree from Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institutions verified from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

The scholarship program aims to provide an excellent opportunity to the Pakistani engineering graduates to study Masters Degree Program mainly in Transportation Engineering and its Sub-Fields at the South East University, China.

The scholarship program will be a 2 years long program, where the 1^st year is designated to learning program including both compulsory and optional subjects and the 2^nd year is designated for the completion of thesis writing and internship, which is a mandatory and compulsory part of the degree program.

Scholarship Domain:

The candidates applying for the Higher Education Commission (HEC) China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) will be provided the opportunity to study their Masters Degree Program in Transportation Engineering and its Sub-Fields. Educational Qualification Required:

Pakistani engineers bearing a valid engineering bachelors degree validated from Pakistani Engineering Council (PEC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institutions are eligible to apply for the HEC – CRBC Scholarship Programme 2018.

Documents Required:

The following documents are required to be submitted along with the application form:

2 certified copies of applicant and father’s CNIC
2 certified copies of Passport
2 certified copies of Domicile
English language certificate / IELTS / TOEFL, etc.
2 IBCC and HEC attested/certified copies of academic qualification, from matric onwards.
2 certified copies of Under graduation certificate / Degree and transcript each (04 years Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field)
2 attested copies of valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad
2 recommendation letters in original
2 recent passport size photographs.
2 copies of applicants statement of purpose
A physical examination report within 6 months
A detailed CV of the candidate.
An original fitness certificate not older than 3 months
Certified English Translations of supporting documents (i.e. certificates, testimonials, transcripts) must be submitted for documents that are not in English.

Application Procedure:

The candidates are required to apply online on the Higher Education Commission (HEC) website, i.e. http://www.hec.gov.pk/english/scholarshipsgrants/lao/CRBC/Pages/default.aspx and get 3 sets of the completed application form printed along with the originally paid deposit fee challan along with the relevant documents.
The candidates are required to submit an application processing fee of PKR.300/- in any online branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in the Bank Account No. 17427900133401.
The paid application processing fee challan must be attached to the duly filled application form and must be endorsed by the employer / relevant heads of departments/ divisions/institutions, whichever applicable.
Applicants are required to also submit police clearance certificate along with their application dossiers
The application sets must be sent in Spiral Binding only. The Applications, which will not be in Spiral Binding, will not be accepted.
Each Application set should be separate, i.e. the application sets should not be bonded/attached together.
The candidates are required to send their duly filled application form along with the required documents to Assistant Director (HRD), Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, Sector H-9, Islamabad.
